A Verizon Business Case Study
Cintas, a large uniform rental and services company with about 40,000 employees and roughly 460 facilities across the United States and Canada, needed to modernize communications for its highly distributed workforce. As its drivers handled more than 15,000 routes each week and supported urgent customer needs in the field, Cintas faced challenges with unreliable connectivity, outdated handheld devices, and the need to link customer data back to its ERP and other systems. Verizon Business was brought in to help address these infrastructure and communications gaps.
Verizon Business implemented a broader IT infrastructure upgrade that included cEdge SD-WAN, Dedicated Internet, MPLS, Broadband, LTE Business Internet backup, UCaaS, and managed services such as Managed WAN, Managed LAN, Network Engineering, and PMO support. The result was improved collaboration, stronger business continuity, and a more reliable network across 400 locations in Cintas’ rental division, supporting its 99.99% reliability standards. The partnership also positioned Cintas to expand into next-gen technologies and future Network-as-a-Service capabilities with greater speed and flexibility.
