KT deployed Veritas NetBackup Appliances—leveraging NetBackup Accelerator, deduplication, and virtual‑aware policies—to cut backup windows from several hours to under one hour for key servers, enable immediate recovery during hard‑disk failures, and reduce hardware and operational costs by eliminating point deduplication and tape solutions. The success has prompted plans to expand replication across centers for improved disaster recovery.
