Why NBC Affiliate TV Station KGW Channel 8 is Utilizing the iVisitor System from Veristream

KGW Channel 8, Portland’s NBC affiliate, needed a more secure, trackable visitor-management process for its 180 employees and two tenant companies and ruled out paper or in‑house systems that couldn’t provide real‑time records for evacuations. The station selected Veristream’s iVisitor SaaS visitor-management solution to give employees individual, web‑based accounts for pre‑registering guests and maintaining an accessible record of who is in the building.

Veristream implemented iVisitor with ID scanning, printed visitor badges (and temporary RFID access badges), a lobby kiosk for pre‑registered guests, and self‑enrollment for employees, allowing pre‑registration from desktop or home.
