Connecticut Water, the largest publicly traded water company in New England, needed a better way to manage growing service expectations, reduce paper-based processes, and improve customer safety. The utility turned to Verisae and its vx Field solution to help coordinate work orders, scheduling, dispatching, and real-time communication between office and field teams.
Verisae implemented vx Field across all divisions and later enabled a photo email alert system for customer appointments, helping Connecticut Water automate workflows and reassure customers about technician visits. The results included faster operations, fewer open work orders—down to fewer than 100 by the end of 2014—and strong customer support, with 91.9% of surveyed customers who knew about the program backing it.
