Tcc Creates Latin America’s Leading Dvb-hybrid and Multi-screen TV Service

TCC Cable, a Uruguayan pay‑TV leader, set out to build TCC VIVO — a DVB‑Hybrid, multi‑screen service that unifies linear DVB channels with VOD, PVR and OTT on tablets, smartphones and PCs. Their main challenge was to deliver a seamless, personalized user experience across fragmented networks and devices while meeting stringent premium‑content licensing and revenue‑security requirements. After evaluating vendors, TCC Cable selected Verimatrix and its VCAS platform (with ViewRight clients) to address those needs.

Verimatrix implemented its VCAS single security authority and ViewRight ONE multi‑network clients to provide harmonized key management, enhanced HLS protection and cross‑network “super domain” rights for DVB‑Hybrid, IPTV and OTT delivery, integrated with TCC’s hybrid STBs and Zenterio UI. The solution enabled TCC Cable to launch a secure, scalable multi‑screen service, protect premium content across satellite, cable and OTT, simplify head‑end integration with a single API, and deliver a better UX that supports subscriber growth and improved customer loyalty.
