GITEC needed to replace aging payment terminals with an automatic, PCI PTS 3.X‑compliant solution that supported new OSes and NFC/CTLS capabilities while minimizing integration disruption and keeping unattended/self‑service operations running smoothly. After reviewing providers, GITEC selected Verifone’s UX Solution family for its robust, environmentally compliant modules and integration-friendly design.

Verifone supplied UX electronic payment modules (including new UX 301 and UX 401 variants) with a pre‑certified DLL, a distinctive NFC/CTLS module and shorter certification times, enabling quick integration and a seamless customer transition. The deployment of 350 terminals across 150 locations in Spain reduced GITEC’s time‑to‑market and development costs, expanded their sector reach and customer database, and modernized their unattended/self‑service payment estate.
