Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing - Customer Case Study

Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM), a vertically integrated manufacturer of 3D-printed metal parts, faced significant risk machining high-value components where any programming error could result in scrapping a part worth tens of thousands of dollars. To mitigate this risk and validate their CNC programs, they chose to implement Vericut, a standalone toolpath simulation and optimization software from CGTech.

By using Vericut to simulate programs generated in their Siemens NX CAM software, KAM checks for gouges, uncut material, and, most importantly, collisions. This solution has prevented expensive crashes and scrapped workpieces, directly protecting their bottom line. Furthermore, Vericut’s optimization capabilities have generated incredible savings by reducing cycle times, and the software also helps reduce setup times and eliminate broken tools, making it a key driver of profitability for their operation.
