Miju Precision, a leading South Korean injection mold manufacturer, faced significant challenges with long machining times for complex automotive molds, which were causing delays and difficulties with customer demands for shorter deliveries. To address this, Miju turned to the VERICUT Force optimization module from CGTech to help optimize their NC programs and reduce cycle times.

The solution involved using VERICUT Force to analyze and optimize cutting feeds, chip thickness, and cutting forces. This process dramatically reduced the estimated machining time for a test mold from 220.8 hours (9 days) to just 144 hours (6 days), a 35% reduction. As a direct result of this successful test, Miju Precision purchased licenses for both VERICUT and its Force module to implement the technology across their operations.
