Brawo S.p.A., a specialist in mechanical machining, faced the challenge of ruthless global competition and the need to maintain an extremely high quality level in its mass production. To eliminate programming errors and avoid costly machine collisions, the company sought a solution to simulate and verify its NC programs virtually before they reached the shop floor, leading them to the vendor CGTech and its VERICUT software.

By implementing VERICUT, Brawo integrated a virtual simulation environment that certifies all NC programs for both tooling and mass production. The solution drastically reduced testing times, virtually eliminated human error and machine crashes, and improved machining quality. A measurable result was the ability to optimize complex programs, consisting of hundreds of thousands of lines, ensuring excellent surface quality on molds and extending tool life, with VERICUT proving essential as machine complexity grew.
