Crafton Hills College, a public community college serving about 6,500 students each semester, struggled with an unsustainable, time-consuming captioning process that required hours of one-on-one setup for students and faculty and relied on unreliable, hard-to-use tools. To improve accessibility and efficiency, the College turned to Verbit’s live captioning solution.

Verbit implemented a live captioning and note-taking platform with easy integrations, admin features and dedicated support, cutting setup time from one–two hours per person to about 15 minutes and delivering a workflow that Verbit reports takes roughly 1/10th to 1/20th the time of prior providers. The partnership has streamlined operations, saved staff time and costs, and provided more equitable, timely access for students with disabilities.
