Washington Health System, a large Pennsylvania healthcare provider, was working to improve patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency across hospitals and outpatient sites. The results included a 25% decrease in total patient harm rate, zero medication errors that resulted in patient harm in FY 2016, and a 32% lower healthcare-associated infection rate than the Pennsylvania hospital average, along with improved efficiency in lab verification and care coordination.
