Health Central Hospital, a not‑for‑profit community hospital in Ocoee, Florida, struggled with fragmented, manual tracking of tissue used across its operating room, surgery center and wound care clinic—about 3,500 implanted items annually. To improve patient safety, regulatory compliance and reduce waste, Health Central implemented Allscripts Tissue Manager (part of the Allscripts portfolio) to replace paper processes and centralize inventory control.
