California Orthopedic & Spine Retains Veradigm for Revenue Cycle Excellence When Converting to Epic EHR

California Orthopedics & Spine, an 11‑physician orthopedic practice in the North San Francisco Bay Area, was moving to the Epic Community Connect EHR and feared losing the revenue cycle gains it had achieved. To avoid disruption, the practice retained Veradigm and its Veradigm Revenue Cycle Services while making the EHR change.

Veradigm’s Epic project team integrated its Revenue Cycle Services directly into the new Epic build, assisted with edits and work‑queue routing, and provided day‑to‑day monitoring and communication with practice staff. As a result, Veradigm helped California Orthopedics & Spine sustain and even improve key revenue cycle metrics—reducing denials and risks of delayed revenue and maintaining gains in accounts receivable days, denial rates, and clean claims—preventing any disruption in collections.
