How Trinity Christian School Used Veracross Portals to Welcome New Families

Trinity Christian School, an independent K–12 school in Northern Virginia with 680+ students, needed a user-friendly way to welcome and onboard new families—especially during the pandemic when virtual engagement was crucial. To improve first impressions and reduce confusion during enrollment, Trinity Christian School used the Veracross New Family Portal (part of Veracross Portals) to present exclusive, grade-specific content and streamline communications from the moment families enrolled.

Using Veracross, TCS redesigned its New Family Portal in 2020 and mirrored branding and workflows across admissions, parent, and student portals so families had one username/password to apply, sign contracts, pay tuition, and access schedules. The Veracross solution simplified onboarding, “all but eliminated” parent questions about required tasks, helped TCS achieve record enrollment amid Covid limitations, and earned the school a Veracross portal design award in fall 2021.
