Catlin Gabel School, an independent pre-K through grade 12 school in Portland, Oregon, was struggling with siloed information spread across 78 different systems. Their on-premise student information system and various department-specific tools created redundancies, data integrity concerns, and an unreliable experience, prompting them to look for a more unified solution from Veracross.

Veracross implemented a single-record, browser-based student information system that brought together data across core departments including admissions, billing, athletics, transportation, extended day care, and more. The school now uses Veracross for portals, reporting, and communications, helping streamline workflows and improve the experience for families, faculty, and staff; after the implementation began in 2018, Catlin Gabel soft-launched in February 2019 and fully transitioned for the 2019–20 school year.
