The company enlisted Veolia North America and its waste management services to implement this initiative and increase the facility's overall sustainability.

Veolia's solution involved developing a customized landfill diversion strategy for each waste stream, which included investing in new equipment and adding sorting processes. As a result, Veolia now manages the diversion of more than 8 million pounds of waste from landfill annually for Ford. This achievement has provided Ford with significant positive recognition and was a finalist for the company's internal Environmental Leadership award.
