PracticePal, an optometry practice in Phoenix, needed a faster way to handle the time-consuming insurance verification process that was slowing down patient check-in and reducing profitability. Ventive helped address this challenge with a custom search tool and API integration for its Eligibility & Benefits Search Engine (EBSE) and Optical Sales Tool.

Ventive built a system that searches the five major vision care providers in a fraction of the time, giving staff accurate benefits information on the spot. The result was a reduction in sales process time from 30 minutes to 5 minutes, about 10 staff hours saved per week, fewer no-shows, and more opportunities to upsell patients on covered vision benefits.
