Textron, a large multi-industry company with operations spanning Bell Helicopter, Cessna Aircraft, and E-Z-Go, needed a better way to turn workers’ compensation and disability data into actionable information for its operations teams. Using Ventiv Technology’s RiskConsole risk management information system, the company set out to replace overly complex reporting with dashboards that would help managers quickly spot trends and focus on the metrics that mattered most to time and cost.

Ventiv Technology helped Textron build simple, color-coded dashboards using RiskConsole’s business intelligence tools and MyConsole pages, including enterprise scorecard, enterprise comparison, and business unit reports. Updated monthly with carrier data, the dashboards improved visibility, trust, and speed of decision-making by showing whether performance was improving or worsening at a glance. While no hard financial figure was given, Textron reported that the solution made it easier to drive action and reduce costs by focusing attention on the right issues.
