A Ventiv Technology Case Study
San Bernardino County, the largest county in the United States, faced an aging, decade‑old claims system that required outside consultants for reporting, slow data access, insecure document sharing and difficulty integrating with other legacy applications. To modernize claims administration for workers’ compensation, general liability and first‑party property, the county adopted Ventiv Technology’s iVOS claims administration platform.
Ventiv Technology implemented iVOS as a browser‑based, secure core data repository with automated interfaces, business rules and workflow management, giving the county real‑time visibility into TPA activity and eliminating manual data transfers. The change cut reporting time sharply (the OSHA 300 log went from three people working for weeks to one person producing it in less than a day), automated monthly reporting, improved oversight and communication, and enabled the county to do more with fewer staff while identifying trends and reducing losses.
