Columbia Sussex, the owner-operator of 43 hotels and resorts across 27 states and the Caribbean, faced fragmented, error-prone claims data that hindered timely sales, refinancing and day-to-day risk management. To improve claims accuracy, reporting and integration with accounts payable/finance and its third-party administrator, Columbia Sussex selected Ventiv Technology’s cloud-based RMIS (chosen in summer 2009, implemented September 2009 and live early 2010).

Ventiv Technology centralized claims data, added robust reporting, litigation and property-tracking fields, enabled cost allocations by property and let the company scale users up or down as needed.
