Canon, a global leader in imaging products, was struggling with fragmented, country‑specific claims data (36 separate spreadsheets/databases), slow paper‑based processes and limited visibility across its international supply chain. To consolidate claims handling and improve efficiency, Canon engaged Ventiv Technology to deploy the RiskConsole claims management solution across its European and Middle East operations.

Ventiv Technology’s RiskConsole standardized data entry, enabled paperless pdf submissions and centralized reporting for 23 Canon users in seven countries, giving instant visibility and product linkage. The result: dramatically faster handling (lead times reduced from up to three months to a maximum of 35 days, Aon’s claim-data receipt time fell from 131 days to 21 days), some claims settled within a day, and actionable trend detection (31 related theft claims at a German hub led to an arrest and supplier change).
