Bon Secours Health System, a $3.3 billion not-for-profit healthcare system, faced an unwieldy process for managing physician data—relying on a 2,500‑line Excel spreadsheet to track credentials, coverage dates, locations and paper files needed for professional liability coverage. To centralize records, automate renewals and improve premium allocation and tax reporting, Bon Secours worked with Ventiv Technology to create a custom physician management module within its RMIS.

Ventiv Technology’s custom module became the central repository for more than 1,000 providers, capturing demographics, coverage and employment records and attaching electronic documents. The solution enabled quarterly chargeback reporting, tax filings for contractors, certificate generation, coverage verification, email-to-journal document capture and automated insurance letters.
