Standard Components - Customer Case Study

Standard Components (SCI), a Vention Certified System Integrator, needed a turnkey fixture for a major EV manufacturer’s new launch. The challenge was to create a modular, affordable solution that could support repeatable drilling and milling operations with high rigidity, repeatability, and positional accuracy, while also meeting a tight deadline and avoiding long lead times.

Vention provided a precision milling and drilling application built around a Vention fixture and MachineMotion V1 controller, supporting air-driven drills, mills, pneumatic slide units, and servo-driven axis and part-nest motion. The result was a flexible, plug-and-play system that could be adapted for future applications; the project was designed in 5 hours and assembled in 28 hours, enabling SCI to quickly deploy a reliable automated solution.
