Produlith Increases Output and Employee Well-being with a Cobot Palletizer

Produlith, a manufacturing and packaging company based in Montreal, wanted to improve employee well-being and operational efficiency by reducing the physical strain and staffing challenges caused by repetitive end-of-line palletizing. The company turned to Vention for an automated palletizing solution using its Rapid Series Palletizer with a Universal Robots UR20 cobot.

Vention customized and deployed the cobot palletizer with conveyors and MachineApp software to fit Produlith’s two production lines, enabling easier recipe creation and more consistent palletizing. The results included an 8% increase in hourly output on the folder-gluer, a 60% reduction in traffic around the palletizing area, reduced human error, and improved employee satisfaction and safety.
