Legrand, a designer and manufacturer of manual and automated roller shade solutions, needed a safer and more flexible way to test and install custom shades of varying sizes and heights, including very large units extending up to 20 ft. Their existing process was limited by short test heights, ladders and scaffolding for high mounts, and time-consuming reconfiguration that could take up to half a day.

Vention worked with Legrand to design and commission a custom modular testing fixture built for flexibility, safety, and quick reconfiguration. The system can support 12 large shades at once, with independently moving carriages and ground-level mounting, and it delivered major efficiency gains: 80 hours of design time, 180 hours of assembly time, and 24 hours for calibration and commissioning, while minimizing footprint and maximizing available space.
