Introducing automation to remove repetitive tasks

Spector & Co. partnered with Vention to tackle repetitive, dull machine-tending work on their manufacturing floor and address labor shortages while improving production efficiency. As their first automation project, they needed a simple, guided way to begin using robotics, and Vention’s MachineBuilder platform helped them identify an ideal entry point with a robotic machine tending application.

Vention implemented a compact machine tending robot cell with a Universal Robots UR10e, OnRobot dual-gripper, safety enclosure, area scanner, and custom cart. The solution increased production to 60–100 bottles per hour, improved production predictability, and allowed operators to be reassigned to more fulfilling tasks like packing, setup, and quality checks, while Vention’s support helped resolve issues quickly and avoid downtime.
