McAlpine & Co. Ltd partnered with Vention to solve a manual case packing bottleneck in its highly automated 24/5 production line. The company needed a way to remove repetitive hand packing, improve process reliability, and free operators for higher-value work while maintaining or increasing throughput.

Vention implemented a fully automated case packing system using its MachineBuilder design platform, MachineMotion controller, MachineLogic programming, and a UR10e Universal Robots cobot. The solution picks and places products into cartons, then transfers them for sealing and labeling with no human intervention. Vention helped McAlpine exceed its target of 7.2 picks per minute, eliminate manual labor at the final stage, and improve throughput and labor allocation while keeping quality high.
