Ellison Technologies, a provider of advanced machining solutions, needed a multi-functional, mobile cart with built-in part storage to reduce set-up time when switching jobs and to allow additional components to be added over time. Vention provided the solution using its modular components and design expertise, leveraging Vention’s extrusions and aluminum assembly plates to create an industrial cart with drawers.

Vention built a mobile cart using three extrusion sizes (45 x 45 mm, 45 x 90 mm, 90 x 90 mm), aluminum assembly plates, acrylic drawer panels and premium swivel leveling casters; the project was completed in 3 days (4 hours design, 14 hours assembly) with an equipment cost of $8,508.07. The Vention solution delivered the required mobility and part storage, reduced changeover time, and — as Ellison notes — Vention’s modularity allows them to quickly add components and extend the robot’s use.
