Cobot palletizers are helping to reallocate labor at the bottler of food oils

Sager Food, a food and beverage packaging company in Montreal, Canada, wanted to improve productivity at its food oil bottling plant but faced labor shortages and difficulty attracting additional workers. To address this, it turned to Vention for an automation solution that could be managed in-house without costly third-party programming or specialized expertise, using Vention’s cobot palletizing platform.

Vention implemented two cobot palletizers serving three production lines, with code-free programming and intuitive controls. The system was delivered in 8 weeks, deployed and trained in just 2 days, and reallocated three full-time operators to higher-value tasks. Vention’s solution is expected to pay back in just over one year, significantly boosting productivity without adding headcount.
