Classic Woodwork, a woodworking shop, wanted to improve efficiency but faced labor shortages and believed its tailor-made production was too difficult to automate. Working with Vention, the company looked for an in-house manageable solution that could handle sanding tasks on workpieces of different sizes.

Vention implemented a robotic sanding cell featuring a Universal Robots UR10e on a Vention timing belt 7th axis with an OnRobot Sander. The system was fully operational in 10 weeks, deployed and trained in less than one week, and helped Classic Woodwork reassign employees to higher-value work while achieving a return on investment in under two years.
