Curve, a UK-based paytech startup, partnered with Vention to address the need for greater speed and agility in delivering a better customer experience. As Curve scaled after a £70M Series C, it needed help streamlining core payment mechanisms and modernizing its backend infrastructure.

Vention added Go, PHP, and Node.js specialists who built new functionality into Curve’s microservices, refactored legacy systems, and deployed on AWS for improved flexibility and scalability. The upgrade helped Curve secure £9.4M in a record Crowdcube campaign, bringing total funding to nearly £132M, while supporting its expansion into the US and across Europe.
