Case Study: City of Armadale streamlines council procurement with VendorPanel

A VendorPanel Case Study

Preview of the City of Armadale Case Study

City of Armadale builds on WALGA initiative, implements VendorPanel for all council procurement

The City of Armadale, a local council in Western Australia, needed to replace burdensome manual procurement processes and improve visibility across its purchasing activity. Already using VendorPanel to access WALGA preferred supplier arrangements, the council saw an opportunity to move all sourcing online with VendorPanel’s Marketplace and Tenders products.

VendorPanel implemented a single platform for all council procurement, covering local supplier RFQs, WALGA supplier arrangements, and complex tenders. The result was faster, more compliant sourcing with complete spend visibility; Armadale raised nine tenders in its first month and saved an estimated 7–8 hours of administration per tender, while also gaining better reporting and insight to support future procurement decisions.
