Case Study: Cenitex achieves centre-led procurement efficiency with VendorPanel

A VendorPanel Case Study

Preview of the Cenitex Case Study

Cenitex moves to centre-led procurement model with integrated SaaS platform

Cenitex, a Victorian state-owned enterprise providing ICT services to the public sector, needed to remove procurement bottlenecks caused by a centralized team handling high volumes of low-value, low-risk commodity purchases. The manual process was slowing project timelines, frustrating buyers and procurement staff, and creating compliance risks. Cenitex turned to VendorPanel’s SaaS procurement platform to support a shift toward a centre-led procurement model.

VendorPanel was implemented first for two high-use panels and later expanded with tools such as a Buyers’ Hub and guided logic trees to help non-Procurement staff source and evaluate quotes compliantly. The result was greater buyer autonomy, reduced workload for Procurement, improved governance and reporting, and complete visibility across the process. Cenitex also reported audit-ready reporting, with plans to move all sub-tender purchasing onto the platform and use connected systems for stronger analytics and automation.
