Lone Star Rodeo Company, a family-run rodeo founded in 1949 and now managed by Rachel Boyd and her siblings, needed to modernize ticketing while maintaining its traveling, family-focused tradition. With around 25 crew members producing more than 15 events a year across the U.S., the rodeo’s manual, paper-based box office couldn’t keep pace—Boyd needed a portable, reliable system that would support advance online sales and a mobile box office setup.
Partnering with Vendini provided a flexible, mobile ticketing solution Boyd can take on the road—using three laptops, three printers and handheld scanners—to pre-build events, sell tickets online (up to 80% for some rodeos), and capture customer data for smarter marketing. The new system cut setup time, improved reporting accuracy, helped sell out performances, and made training easy for staff, allowing Lone Star Rodeo to increase advance sales and plan events more effectively.
