Nutanix, a San Jose–based enterprise cloud computing company with more than 5,000 employees, struggled with demand planning that relied on offline Excel files and data from disconnected systems (NetSuite for ERP and Salesforce for CRM). This manual, versioned approach made cross‑team collaboration difficult, created data‑integrity issues, and left planners unable to react quickly to changing business conditions.

Nutanix implemented Vena—an Excel‑friendly, scalable planning platform that integrates with NetSuite and Salesforce—to centralize demand and supply planning. Starting with five users and growing to 30, Vena became the single source of truth, enabling up‑to‑date forecasts, predictive analytics, seamless handoffs to contract manufacturers, elimination of spreadsheet versioning, and faster, more confident decision making across the organization.
