A Velvet Case Study
The Estonian National Museum sought to create a major temporary exhibition, "Right Body, Wrong Body?," that would explore cultural meanings of the human body across over 1000 square meters. The challenge was to develop and implement a series of unique, immersive digital and interactive solutions that would present the human body from fresh perspectives and form a complete visitor experience.
Velvet designed and built multiple custom interactive installations for the exhibition. These included a retro arcade game, an interactive pavilion replicating a smartphone dating app, a satirical physical retro computer, and a synchronized three-screen display. The solution strongly resonated with the audience, and the exhibition was experienced by 67,206 visitors. Velvet's work on the project was recognized with a Gold award for Digital service and app.
