Sutphen, a long-established fire apparatus manufacturer, faced rising customer demand while relying on disparate legacy systems (including a custom AS/400 and Macola) that created workflow, integration, inventory and productivity problems — including an 8–12 week gap between order entry and engineering start. To unify operations, Sutphen engaged Velosio to implement a modern ERP solution using Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Velosio rolled out Microsoft Dynamics AX to more than 50 users across multiple departments, implementing automated production, sales configuration, project management, supply chain and financials while handling data conversion, setup/configuration, user training, acceptance testing and cutover support. The Velosio implementation streamlined workflows, improved system integration and inventory visibility, reduced manual effort, and helped address the prior 8–12 week order-to-engineering delay.
