A Velosio Case Study
Restaurant Equippers, a Columbus-based restaurant equipment supplier, needed to replace a 15-year-old, discontinued ERP (DMS) and tightly integrate a new system with its automated warehouse management solution to support rapid growth, better analytics, and faster customer order handling. They engaged Velosio and selected Microsoft Dynamics GP (with customizations) to provide the financial, supply chain and reporting capabilities required.
Velosio implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP, building integrations to the warehouse management system, custom order-taking features, and providing project management and training to ensure a seamless cutover. The new solution delivered measurable results: fulfillment throughput increased 2.5× while warehouse headcount fell from 70 to 37, credit card processing dropped to 1–2 seconds from up to three minutes, and decision support improved via Crystal Reports, FRx and Web OLAP—boosting customer service and supporting the company’s growth.
