Havtech, an HVAC equipment and building automation manufacturer, faced challenges with server constraints, disconnected systems, and limited reporting capabilities with its on-premises infrastructure. The company partnered with Velosio to move its Microsoft Dynamics CRM to the cloud and better integrate its operations.
Velosio implemented a cloud-based solution using Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and a data lake, integrated with the existing Dynamics GP ERP system. This provided two-way communication between systems and replaced a legacy data warehouse. The results included drastically reduced report generation times, streamlined syncing of data across eight company databases, and an improved ability to create quotes and orders directly from the CRM.
