Ahresty Wilmington Corporation, a Wilmington, Ohio–based manufacturer of cast, machined and assembled castings, outgrew its customized Microsoft Dynamics SL system as growth increased. Procurement workflows were paper-based and the inventory costing system required manual intervention and multiple integration points. Ahresty engaged Velosio to modernize their ERP and implement Microsoft Dynamics AX to automate processes and connect mission‑critical systems.

Velosio deployed Microsoft Dynamics AX (with Management Reporter and AX workflows) to manage financials, product master, sales and marketing, inventory, transportation and procurement, and to integrate with EDI and shipping systems. The solution automated procurement and financial processes, streamlined AP requisitions and invoices, eliminated many paper handoffs, and reduced manual intervention in inventory costing and integrations, enabling seamless transaction sharing across systems. Velosio led the implementation and integration efforts.
