CCC completes RBI study for 200 piping systems with Velosi Asset Integrity Limited

The customer CCC assigned Velosi Asset Integrity Limited to perform a Risk Based Inspection study for their NASR Full Field Development Project, which was part of the larger Das Island Project. The challenge was to conduct this comprehensive study for all equipment and piping to meet statutory obligations and corporate objectives in the most effective manner.

Velosi implemented a solution using their VAIL-Plant® software PEMS module, performing the study in accordance with API-580/581 standards via a semi-quantitative approach. The results were a complete set of deliverables, including an RBI asset register, inspection plans, and system mark-ups. Velosi successfully carried out the study, enabling CCC to identify failure modes, predict risks, and determine suitable inspection methods and frequencies for their assets.
