The customer, Bunduq Company Limited (bunduq), required a comprehensive risk assessment and software upgrade for their static equipment and piping systems. They engaged vendor Velosi Asset Integrity Limited to perform a Risk Based Inspection (RBI) study and to upgrade their VAIL-Plant® software from a desktop to a web-based application.
Velosi implemented a semi-quantitative risk assessment methodology in line with API standards, utilizing their VAIL-Plant® software. The solution included developing corrosion loops, creating an inspection plan, and successfully delivering a customized web application package. As a result, Bunduq received a detailed RBI study with actionable recommendations to enhance the safety and reliability of their critical assets.
