A Velory Case Study
ZoCom, a Swedish IT consultancy firm, faced significant challenges with its IT equipment management. Under CEO Alvaro Foresti, the company struggled with chaotic, ad-hoc hardware purchases that made budgeting difficult and led to low employee satisfaction with inadequate devices. They lacked a clear overview of their assets and used inefficient manual tracking methods like spreadsheets, which consumed excessive time and resources.
The vendor, Velory, implemented its Hardware Asset Management platform and an integrated store. ZoCom established a leasing agreement with DLL and used Dustin as a hardware supplier, both integrated into Velory's system. This allowed employees to order their own approved equipment, automating tracking and lifecycle management. As a result, ZoCom achieved 100% employee satisfaction with their hardware, made IT costs predictable, freed up 20 hours per month previously spent on manual tracking, and sped up new employee onboarding by two times.
