WABCO, a 150‑year‑old leader in commercial-vehicle safety and efficiency with 13,000 employees across 40 countries, needed a scalable way to make ergonomics part of day‑to‑day operations. Although it had run in‑person training and paper assessments since 2006, the company’s biggest challenge was training and engaging leadership and operators globally to consistently identify and fix high‑risk jobs.

WABCO adopted VelocityEHS Industrial Ergonomics’ online training, assessment and management tools, using e‑learning, on‑floor workshops, and color‑coded risk dashboards with site‑level filters to prioritize actions. Within a year 100% of its ~10,000 operators completed training, ergonomics became embedded in the culture, and teams could proactively eliminate high‑risk tasks and track progress toward goals (eliminate high‑risk jobs by 2018 and reach 90% low‑risk jobs by 2019).
