A VelocityEHS Case Study
Tower International, a $2 billion global manufacturer with more than 7,000 colleagues that supplies engineered automotive structural metal components to OEMs, faced a training bottleneck: ergonomics instruction was only offered four times a year and required travel, making timely interventions difficult.
In March 2016 Tower adopted VelocityEHS Industrial Ergonomics, using seven e‑learning modules for salaried staff, classroom sessions for hourly workers, and on‑floor assessments with a VelocityEHS board‑certified ergonomist. The integrated tools and tracking log replaced pencil‑and‑paper processes, enabling just‑in‑time training, better data capture and improvement tracking, and a staged roll‑out across U.S. plants to be completed early next year.
