A VelocityEHS Case Study
Polaris, a major powersports manufacturer based in Roseau, Minnesota with over 1,100 engineers and plant employees, set a company-wide goal of zero occupational injuries and launched an initiative to boost ergonomics awareness and training. The challenge was to train large numbers of plant workers consistently and create a sustainable process for identifying and fixing high-risk jobs across multiple sites.
Polaris adopted VelocityEHS Industrial Ergonomics—moving from in-person courses to a Learn–Do–Manage online program with seven training modules that help employees spot high‑risk tasks, quantify risk, and implement improvements. Using training-status reports to track progress, Polaris has trained thousands, achieved strong compliance, rolled the program out across U.S. plants, and realized continuous ergonomic improvements and reductions in injury rates.
