Parker Hannifin Employees Change the Future with VelocityEHS Industrial Ergonomics

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 leader in motion and control technologies with operations in 50 countries and 300+ manufacturing sites, set a company-wide goal of zero injuries and identified ergonomics as a critical opportunity to improve safety and employee engagement. Leadership invested in ergonomics education—beginning with Applied Industrial Ergonomics workshops in 2012—to give employees the knowledge and ownership needed to identify and reduce risk.

By adopting VelocityEHS Industrial Ergonomics (including online modules in 2017), Parker formed cross-functional teams, standardized assessments, and prioritized fixes using data. The program has trained 700+ online learners, enabled 1,400+ users across 440 locations to complete 2,800+ assessments, produced nearly 800 implemented improvements (4,000+ more planned), and contributed to a 54% reduction in Recordable Incident Rate since 2014 (22% in FY2017).
