Case Study: AGCO achieves 50%+ reduction in injury rates and boosts safety and efficiency with VelocityEHS

A VelocityEHS Case Study

Preview of the AGCO Case Study

AGCO’s Ergonomics Evolution Empowering Safety, Efficiency and Innovation Through Strategic Integration

AGCO, a global agricultural equipment manufacturer with more than 24,000 employees, needed to embed ergonomics across its operations to reduce injuries, boost productivity, and make safety an integral part of continuous improvement rather than just a compliance exercise.

Partnering with VelocityEHS, AGCO rolled out a four-day program combining software training and hands-on Kaizen events, integrated ergonomics into its APS/PDCA process, and equipped frontline teams with AI-enabled tools and simple observation techniques. The approach delivered measurable impact—about 400 Kaizen events in South America in 2024 (more than half focused on ergonomics) and TCIR reductions exceeding 50% where implemented—largely through low-cost, high-impact fixes and sustained cultural change.
