Graniterock, a construction materials company with more than 750 employees across six California counties, needed to modernize its long-standing JD Edwards World and EnterpriseOne systems after they became unsupported. The company partnered with Velocity Technology Solutions to upgrade to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 and to continue hosting and managing the environment in a virtual private cloud.

Velocity Technology Solutions led the technical migration, including complex database conversions and go-live support, while also providing managed hosting and disaster recovery. The upgrade gave Graniterock a stronger foundation for future modules, improved reporting and payment processing, better navigation, and mobile support, while Velocity’s private cloud model delivered cost savings and enabled the company to focus on core operations.
