Case Study: Polaris achieves sustainability goals with VEIC's energy management systems training

A VEIC Case Study

Polaris reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 5% with VEIC

Polaris, a global motorsports manufacturer, faced the challenge of meeting its ambitious sustainability goals, including a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2035. This required a coordinated, company-wide initiative to unify its disparate plants and motivate all employees to find effective energy solutions. VEIC partnered with Polaris to address this challenge.

VEIC implemented a training program based on the Department of Energy’s 50001 Ready program for a cohort of seven Polaris plants. This initiative fostered collaboration between facilities and provided a standardized framework for continuous energy improvement. As a result, Polaris achieved 50001 Ready recognition for all seven plants and met its 2022 goal by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 5%. VEIC’s solution created lasting alignment and set the company on a path for deeper future savings.
